I used to frequent this place but ever since ownership transferred the customer service has really gone done. The past THREE times that I've walked in I've been told that they are not serving any more -each time was during regular business hours (as posted on their door and website) and the neon "open" sign was lit out front. Too many other good Thai options for me to ever go back to Bahn Thai.

I don’t understand this place. It has the potential to be great. However, I have come here several times and been turned away because they don’t have enough staff. Other times, I have waited over an hour for food. I’ve also tried calling to place a to go order, but they don’t answer. One time I came in an hour before their closing time and they claimed they were closed, but the open sign was turned on and there was a room full of people????? Owners really need to hire more staff or this place will go down the drain- fast.

We used to love getting food from here, always tasted good. But they need to figure out their staff shortages. First, they stopped doing take out for lunch. Then they got a sign up saying that expect long waits if you dine in because of staffing issues (it’s a mostly college town, I don’t believe this). Now they’ve stopped dong take out for dinner. Pity. Won’t be going back there, the food is good, but not *that* good

Very nice presentation and tasty pad Thai and drunken noodles! I like that the noodles didn’t taste like they had been dumped in sauce. The food here was excellent. My only suggestion is that there is more light inside the restaurant as it was a bit too dim.

I've been coming here almost weekly the last few years, but there are a few problems with this restaurant. The biggest issue is that their pork, chicken, and beef have the texture of a Chicken McNugget. It's really gross and it would go a long way if they used real, good quality meat. However, all their soups are incredible and when I want more edible meat, the 4-hour braised beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
